They explain how a colonoscopy works, define the technical language on the report, and show example images of various findings.

Meet Your Instructors

Tauseef Ali, MD, FACP, FACG

Board certified in gastroenterology and internal medicine, Tauseef Ali, MD, FACP, FACG cares for patients in the Oklahoma City metro area. Dr. Ali is chief of the gastroenterology medical staff section at SSM Health St. Anthony Hospital, leads the hospital’s Crohn’s and Colitis Program and facilitates monthly CCFA IBD support groups. He specializes in inflammatory bowel disease and also has clinical interests in Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis, colorectal screening, hemorrhoid banding and general gastroenterology. He is an assistant clinical professor at the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine.

Pooja Singhal, MD, FACG, DABOM is a board-certified Gastroenterologist and Director of Women’s Digestive Health at SSM Health St. Anthony Hospital. She completed her medical school training at the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine and an Internal medicine residency at the Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, DC. Dr. Singhal received her fellowship training in Gastroenterology at the Georgetown University hospital as well, where she was selected as Chief Resident and Chief Gastroenterology Fellow. Dr. Singhal's clinical training and interests include general gastroenterology, inflammatory bowel disease, irritable bowel syndrome, celiac disease, liver diseases including hepatitis and cirrhosis, diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy, and women's gastrointestinal health.

Pooja Singhal, MD, FACG, DABOM

Pooja Singhal, MD, FACG, DABOM is a board-certified Gastroenterologist and Director of Women’s Digestive Health at SSM Health St. Anthony Hospital. She completed her medical school training at the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine and an Internal medicine residency at the Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, DC.
