Meet Your Instructor

Jessica Salwen-Deremer, PhD

Jessica Salwen-Deremer, Ph.D., DBSM, is a licensed clinical psychologist and Diplomate in Behavioral Sleep Medicine. She is an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry & Medicine at the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth and sees patients with a variety of digestive disorders in the section of Gastroenterology at Dartmouth-Hitchcock.

Dr. Salwen-Deremer earned her Ph.D. in clinical psychology at Stony Brook University, and completed her fellowship training at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. Her areas of clinical expertise include behavioral sleep medicine and psychogastroenterology. Her research predominantly focuses on the intersection of these two areas and she is particularly interested in the impact of sleep disorders on Crohn’s disease.
