Phase 1 - Learn about what foods you can and can’t eat on the elimination diet, the benefits, how to prepare yourself, how to read labels, and how to get started eliminating trigger foods from your diet.
Phase 2 - In this phase, you’ll learn how to navigate eating out and how to build healthy meals at home.
Phase 3 - In this phase, you’ll learn how to begin reintroducing types of foods using the 4-Food Elimination Diet sequence in cooperation with your healthcare provider, and how to monitor any returning symptoms.
Amanda is a Michigan-based consultant for GI onDEMAND and works full-time as an outpatient dietitian at Michigan Medicine with the Department of Gastroenterology and Hepatology. She is also co-director for an annual GI nutrition training program called FOOD: The Main Course to Digestive Health. Education & Training: BS in Nutrition Sciences and Dietetics from Michigan State University. Delta State University Dietetic Internship.
